Newcastle Healthy City


Working in partnership to addressing health inequalities in Newcastle. Supporting the development of community projects.

Newcastle Comm. Food


Newcastle Community Food Initiative aims to improve access to healthy, affordable food especially for disadvantaged groups in the city

Ban Waste


BAN Waste are opposed to incineration and landfill on the grounds that they are a waste of resources as well as being unsightly and a possible danger to our health. We promote a zero waste policy, support waste reduction and recycling.

Carers Centre


Carers Centre Newcastle is a citywide organisation that supports carers in Newcastle.

Deaflink


We work for an improvement in access to education, health, employment, leisure and social opportunities for Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing people in Newcastle.

HAREF


The Health and Race Equality Forum (HAREF) is a network of nearly 100 individuals representing the community, voluntary and statutory sectors in Newcastle. It works collectively to address inequalities in health and healthcare experienced by individuals from Black and Minority Ethnic communities.

Quality of Life (QoL)


The Quality of Life Partnership was established to enable older people and agencies to work together to improve the quality of life of older people in Newcastle.

Community Emp. Network


The Community Empowerment Network helps build and support a community network of networks in Newcastle, enabling communities to speak with authority on their own behalf and impact on the strategic decision making processes that affect them.
