Welcome to the Newcastle Healthy City website.  We promote the health issues of citizens and work to reduce the inequalities in health in the city.

Our values are firmly based around a belief in participation.  Through this we create a sense of ownership as well as encourage mutually supportive initiatives that benefit the welfare of people living in Newcastle.

Newcastle Healthy City is an independent charitable organisation and a member of the World Health Organisation.
